The Space

Welcome to this stunning penthouse apartment; a lovely studio with a lot of character that is sure to charm you. Located in Largo da Sé. The Space is spacious, with a beautifully modern decor and a relaxed feel. It’s the ideal place to come back to after a day of exploring. Great transport links mean you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle! The living area is bright and airy, with a comfy sofa, so sit back and make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back. Wood flooring adds to the room’s charm, and tasteful artwork makes lovely finishing touches. The dining area includes a good-sized dining table that seats two in comfy chairs, so you can enjoy a meal. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a quick meal or cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use, including a coffee machine and microwave.

Get a wonderful night’s rest on the super comfortable double bed, fitted with fresh, luxury linens. Freshen up in the modern bathroom, enjoy a soak in the shower. White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided! The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. 

Access

You have access to the entire apartment, which is cleaned professionally with fresh luxury linens and is prepared for each new visitor. 

We'll arrange for a welcome person to meet you at the property to hand over the keys and let you into the home. Our standard check-in time is from 3pm.

This home sits on the fourth floor of the building and can be accessed by walking up four flights of stairs from street level.

Neighbourhood

Alfama is one of Lisbon’s oldest neighborhoods and home to a variety of amazing views, tourist attractions and hidden treasures. Situated on the slopes between the São Jorge Castle and the Tejo River, the narrow, cobbled winding streets and odd collection of red terracotta rooftops gives the area a timeless and romantic atmosphere. One thing that no trip to Alfama is complete without is a ride on the iconic Number 28 tram. Now as much a time capsule or museum piece as they are a method of transport, a ride on one only costs €2.90. If you want to enjoy a view over the city, then the terrace of the Miradouro de Santa Luzia offers some of the best vistas in the city. For history lovers, the São Jorge Castle and the ruins of the city’s ancient Roman amphitheatre are must-sees.

For a place to grab a bite to eat or a drink, try Portas Do Sol with its great cocktail list and amazing views over the city and the river. ZamBeZe mixes traditional Portuguese cuisine with African influences and Chapitô à Mesa is a fun evening out as the restaurant is located within a building with a circus school. For a late night drinking spot with great atmosphere and live music, try Santiago Alquimista.

Check-in

Our check-in time is preferred from 3PM onwards, however, we understand that sometimes travel needs to be flexible. After booking, please enquire about an earlier check-in with our team – we will always facilitate bag drops for early arrivals.

Cancellation Policy

For stays up to 27 nights, the cancellation policy is:

  • 100% refund – If canceled at least 30 days prior to check-in date and within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation
  • 50% refund – if canceled 7 or more days prior to check-in date
  • 0% refund – if canceled within 7 days of check-in date

For stays over 27 nights the cancellation terms might depend on the specific agreement with the host, on the length of the requested stay, and on city local regulations.
