Welcome to our home! Our beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom mews house, in the charming area of Kensington, is a stylish and comfortable place to stay and has terrific transport links. You’re under a 7 minute walk away from Gloucester Road tube station and under 10 from High Street Kensington. Explore the neighbourhood and enjoy the peace and quiet that the mews street provides. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The space

Our beautiful mews house is ideally located in Kensington under a 10 minute walk from the nearest tube station. There are 4 large bedrooms, making it ideal for families. The living area is the heart of the home! Hang out with your family or friends and kick back and relax in front of the TV on the sofa. It is a stylish and elegant place to spend time in and the open-plan dining area makes it a sociable space. The converted garage provides a second communal area in the form of a peaceful study with a desk. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! There’s even a welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones. On the ground floor, the first bedroom has a comfortable double bed with a walk-in wardrobe and basin! All of the beds are made up with fresh, luxury linens to ensure a great night’s sleep! You’ll also find plenty of storage space in each room so you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. The second ground floor bedroom is a double with a fun design. This floor has a bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. Everything is new and modern. On the second floor, you’ll find two further bedrooms. The first has a UK King-sized bed with lots of wardrobe space. The second has a Super King-sized bed, chic design and an en suite bathroom with another bath. Our gorgeous bathroom on the second floor is the perfect place to freshen up - wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower! Fluffy white towels and shampoo are provided. Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.

Neighbourhood

The desirable area of Kensington is popular for a reason. Actually, lots of reasons! There really is so much to do and see and this house could not be better placed for exploring! High Street Kensington is the famous shopping street and also where you’ll find the tube station. Let’s start with food. This area is heaving with great restaurants. For a chic and reliable option, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is a good place to start! The food is good and their secluded garden terrace is a lovely place to enjoy a long lunch. Aubaine is another chic choice, a French restaurant with an expansive menu and vibrant atmosphere. Head here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner! For a more local bistro feel, Ffiona’s is a favourite. This cosy restaurant is great for British food in a relaxed environment. The Shed, just a short walk away, is a modern British restaurant where the plates are small but delicious. All the food is seasonal and the dishes creative; it has become a local favourite. Dirty Bones is a fun and trendy hot dog bar! The cocktails are great and this place has a great buzz on weekends. The area of Kensington is not short of pubs! The Churchill Arms is probably the prettiest of them all. Worth checking out even just to Instagram it’s beautiful facade! The Mall Tavern has a traditional English vibe to it; the wooden floorboards are original. Try some ales or work your way through their classic menu - the food is very good. For a pub with a good garden, The Windsor Castle is the place to go. A short walk into Notting Hill and you can relax with some pimms in the buzzing outdoor area. The wooden bar and tiny doorways will make you feel like you’ve gone back in time! Very popular and always has a lively atmosphere. The Kensington Roof Gardens is a trendy evening destination and a unique venue in London. Just across the road is Kensington Palace. The gardens here join with Hyde Park and walking through it is a must. If the weather is nice, why not rent a pedalo or a rowing boat and laze around on the Serpentine lake? The Serpentine Gallery is also worth checking out. You are under a 10 minute walk away from Exhibition Road where you’ll find the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert. It will only take you 15 minutes to walk to the iconic Royal Albert Hall; they have so much stuff on here but book ahead! Bored of eating out? Pop to Wholefoods to stock up on supplies. This huge health-food supermarket is stuffed full of organic produce and just around the corner from the house. This side street is famous and quintessentially British. Browse the antique shops and boutiques.

Access

Guests will have access to the entire property excluding the balcony area.

Check-in

Our check-in time is preferred from 3PM onwards, however, we understand that sometimes travel needs to be flexible. After booking, please enquire about an earlier check-in with our team – we will always facilitate bag drops for early arrivals.

Access

  • The entrance to the home is on the ground floor, easily accessible at street level and there are steep stairs between the three floors of the home.

Noise

  • The home is on a residential street. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Cancellation Policy

For stays up to 27 nights, the cancellation policy is:

  • 100% refund – If canceled at least 30 days prior to check-in date and within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation
  • 50% refund – if canceled 7 or more days prior to check-in date
  • 0% refund – if canceled within 7 days of check-in date

For stays over 27 nights the cancellation terms might depend on the specific agreement with the host, on the length of the requested stay, and on city local regulations.
