Welcome to our home! We’re so excited to open up our property to fellow Airbnb travellers. Our 3 bedroom apartment, located in the beautiful area of South Kensington, is perfect for families or those travelling with children. Enjoy exploring the city with ease - the nearest tube station is just a minute’s walk away - and the neighbourhood is safe, family-friendly and just around the corner from London’s most famous museums. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The space

Our beautiful home is ideally located in the charming area of South Kensington just a minute’s walk from the tube station. There are 3 bedrooms, making it ideal for families or larger groups. Despite being right in the hub of this neighbourhood, our house offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our property is spread over 3 floors and has a private entrance. On the first floor, you’ll find the living and dining areas and the kitchen. The living area is the heart of the home! Hang out with your family and friends or kick back and relax in front of the TV on the sofas after a long day. There’s lots of room here and the beautiful furnishings and decorative touches make it a cosy place to be. Not only are the sofas comfortable, but one of them opens up into a double bed (Luxury linen provided!). The kitchen and main corridor connect the dining and living areas - making it sociable for whoever is tasked with cooking. Although you won’t mind cooking in this elegant kitchen! Our property has been recently renovated, so everything is modern and new. You’ll find all the appliances you need here; induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher plus a huge fridge freezer. There’s plenty of storage space too; all of the sleek cabinets are available for your use. When sitting at the dining table, you can look out of the large sliding glass doors onto your private terrace. The table and chairs make it a great spot if the weather is nice! There is also a small WC on this floor at the top of the stairs. The second floor is home to two double bedrooms and a large bathroom. The first bedroom is light and airy with a comfortable double bed. A trendy freestanding clothes rail means you can unpack and start feeling at home right away. All of the beds are made with fresh luxury linens for your stay and the windows have blinds, as well as curtains, to guarantee a good night’s sleep. The second bedroom is incredibly spacious and stunningly decorated. Soft paint schemes and blankets and throws make it feel cosy and inviting. This bedroom also has a huge wardrobe with hangers and shelves, plus a gorgeous wooden chest of drawers. You won’t be short of space! There’s a long window that overlooks the charming street below and allows lots of light into the room, except when you want it to, of course! You can watch movies in bed on the large TV. Freshen up in the chic bathroom. You can choose between soaking in the tub or having a shower! The bath is spacious and has a rainfall shower head, so you’ll be happy either way. Gorgeous soft grey tiles, a heated towel rail and a large mirror above the sink - you’ll never want to get out of the tub! Fluffy white towels and shampoo and shower gel are provided. On the third floor is the third double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a Mary Poppins view of London! Being at the top of the house, this bedroom is a peaceful haven and just as beautifully decorated as the others; lots of calming colours and silky throws and plants to make the space feel welcoming and relaxing. Another large wardrobe means no one will be fighting for closet space! The en suite bathroom has a second large bathtub with a rainfall shower head. All of the fittings are sleek and modern and easy to use - no complicated taps here! Candles and elegant tiling make this a lovely place to freshen up. Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay and you’ll even find a welcome pack in the kitchen, stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones.

Neighbourhood

South Kensington is such an exciting part of London - so much to explore here and in the surrounding areas. You are under a 10 minute walk from Exhibition Road, where you’ll find the famous Natural History Museum, the V&A, and the Science Museum, and the iconic Royal Albert Hall is just around the corner. The Admiral Codrington is a popular pub with locals. As well as a fun atmosphere and an outdoor area, the food here is delicious. Try the burger! For an unpretentious, proper English pub, head to the Devonshire Arms. Only a 15 minute walk from the apartment, you’ll find a great selection of beers, traditional English food, and open log fires in the colder months. You aren’t short of options for restaurants either… Tendido Cero and Cambio de Tercio are sister restaurants on opposite sides of Old Brompton Road. Tendido Cero is a casual tapas bar, with delicious Spanish food and a buzzing atmosphere. Cambio de Tercio has more of a traditional restaurant feel to it and the food, also Spanish, is just as good! Worth booking. The Bombay Brasserie in Gloucester Road is a renowned and highly-rated Indian restaurant with a skylit conservatory. Very good food. Nearby Bumpkin, on Old Brompton Road, is a lovely place to go for drinks, lunch, or dinner. The menu changes regularly but is always delicious and has a family-friendly atmosphere. For Pizza, you can’t go wrong with Franco Manca - just a stone’s throw away. Open every Saturday between 9am and 2pm, the Bute Street Farmers’ Market is literally on your doorstep! Pop downstairs to explore the 18 stalls - you’ll find seasonal and fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables. A great place to grab ingredients for lunch!
