A bright and beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in Westminster. Close to all the best sights of London including Parliament and Big Ben.

The space

Welcome to my home fellow Airbnb-ers! I am so pleased to have people stay here. If you are looking to stay in a bright, clean and spacious flat close to all the best sights of London, then look no further. My flat is 4 minutes walk from North Lambeth station (shut till 2017) and only 8 minutes walk from Waterloo station. You can walk to Big Ben and Parliament in 15 minutes and London Eye in 10. The flat is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The living room is perfect to lounge around in after a day of exploring London. Curl up on the sofa and watch some TV (we have got basic channels) or open a bottle of wine and relax in the calmness of the space. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons including dishwasher, toaster, kettle. I have provided some condiments and tea, coffee and sugar for your use! Feel free to make a meal and enjoy it cosy little dining table. Both bedrooms have real double beds. I love sitting in the big grandfather chair and reading a book. The bedrooms have large windows and lots of storage so you can easily unpack. I also provide an airbed in the living room for guest no.5. There are stairs inside the apartment. The living room is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. All beds come with fresh and clean luxury linen. I always always make sure that every guest gets professionally cleaned linen. Same with towels - white fluffy ones are provided for each new guest. There is only one bathroom in the apartment and it has a shower stall. No tub sadly. Shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer are provided. For parents of little ones, I can bring a baby cot and high chair but please do let me know in advance.

Kennington is one of inner London's best kept secrets. It’s an enclave of brick houses and pretty squares containing some perfect examples of Georgian architecture. The most famous is the idyllic Cleaver Square, where locals play boules in the summer with merriment aided by the tiny Prince of Wales pub in the corner. Kennington and nearby Elephant and Castle have also become destinations for foodies in London with a hugely diverse selection of restaurants and markets. The Frenchie Bistro serves, unsurprisingly, delicious French food. For proper English pubs, you're in the right place. Swing by The Old Red Lion for classic pub grub and beers. The local foodies in the know head to Mercato Metropolitano on the weekends. This indoor street market is packed full of everything from pizzas to gelato.

The apartment is perfectly located for sight-seeing too; the Imperial War Museum is nearby, the Cinema Museum is worth a trip, and check out the East Street Market.

Check-in

Our check-in time is preferred from 3PM onwards, however, we understand that sometimes travel needs to be flexible. After booking, please enquire about an earlier check-in with our team – we will always facilitate bag drops for early arrivals.

Access

  • The home is on the first floor and can be accessed by walking up one flight of stairs from street level. When entering the building please use entry code cx940z. When checking out leave keys inside (the door is self-locking).

Amenities

  • The sofa in the living room converts into a double sofa bed.

Noise

  • The home is in a shared residential building. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Cancellation Policy

For stays up to 27 nights, the cancellation policy is:

  • 100% refund – If canceled at least 30 days prior to check-in date and within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation
  • 50% refund – if canceled 7 or more days prior to check-in date
  • 0% refund – if canceled within 7 days of check-in date

For stays over 27 nights the cancellation terms might depend on the specific agreement with the host, on the length of the requested stay, and on city local regulations.
