Perfect London Base - 5 mins walking to all Local Transport links and 10 mins to Paddington Main Line. Local shopping / markets with countless Restaurants, Cafe's and Bar's all within a few minutes walk.

The space

You have access to the entire penthouse and it's not shared with anyone! A modern purpose built duplex apartment with all modern amenities for a luxury self catering break with a mix of Five-Star Hotel type facillities. Luxury Egyptian Cotton Bedding and Towels as used by London's top Hotels are changed after every Guest stay and once a week for long-term bookings. Large open plan reception area with floor to ceiling windows giving a panoramic view over the hustle and bustle of surrounding areas. Large seating area with additional bean bags for maximum interaction while talking, drinking, watching TV or playing the Wii. High Sped BT Infinity broadband with Wifi throughout including printing facilities, BlueRay DVD player and Nintendo Wii. Three Bedrooms currently configured for four adults and two children - please let me know if another configuration is required but with use of lounge sofa-bed can sleep 9. However the apartment is most spacious and ideally suited for Six - 4 Adults (couples) and 2 Children. Two bathrooms (one en-suite) each with separate bath and rainfall shower (not jet spray but refreshing tumbling warm water). Baby facilities including travel cot and high chair Wrap around balcony overlooking the famous Westbourne Grove and Notting Hill in the distance. MUST EMPHASIZE - Ideal location as a London Base: Tons of transport links - Buses, Tubes, Taxis, Mainline Train and Heathrow Express all within 10 minute walk. Hyde Park at the end of the Road Shopping / Markets / Restaurants / Bars - too many to mention


Bayswater, in Zone One and Westminster Borough - perhaps the most cosmopolitan of all the boroughs - borders the north of Hyde Park and the west of Oxford Street. Bayswater is cosmopolitan, diverse yet elegant and includes the contrast of thriving bustling hub of Queensway. This variety means that everything you need is within walking distance and there are very few areas in London you can truly say that. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are literally at the end of the road, with more than 4,000 trees, a lake, a meadow, Concerts, the Serpentine, roller-blading and horse riding. This is London’s most visited and famous park. Kensington Gardens - planted with formal avenues of magnificent trees and ornamental flower beds. Also home to Kensington Palace, peaceful Italian Gardens, the Albert Memorial, Peter Pan statue and the Serpentine Gallery. Shopping in the West End. Oxford Street with the famous Selfridges - which in 2010 beat Bloomingdale’s in New York to be named the best department store in the world !! Queensway is the heart and soul of Bayswater – bustling and noisy it is a great experience with Whiteleys Shopping Centre which offers high street stores including Nine West, French Connection, Gap and Zara, as well WH Smiths and HMV. It originally opened in 1912 as a fashionable department store that sold everything from ‘a pin to an elephant’ Portobello Road Market is a healthy stroll away. Locals come here for an eclectic range of vintage fashion, handmade crafts, as well as ethically produced fashions and fruit and veg. Housed in the elegant Porchester Centre and across the road, Courtneys leisure centre provides local residents with two pools, squash, 60 fitness classes, swimming lessons and a there’s a Spa with a fantastic reputation London’s only permanent ice rink is on Queensway – the Queens Ice Rink is open every day Queensway Market, two doors down from Queensway Tube station is an arcade with stalls stocking items rarely found in the chain stores. Restaurants - Bayswater, Queensway, Westbourne Grove and Notting Hill have far too many restaurants all within walking distance - far too many to include in this overview. ( suggest using Time-Out, Open-Table, Zomato etc... to search the local area. In addition there is a fantastic collection of ethnic cafes and bars.


There are a few personal items stored in the boiler room - otherwise full access to both the penthouse apartment and the building. Please Note: The Penthouse is a corner unit and there is a twenty metre corridor to the front door. There is a final flight of stairs from the Lift to the property. The stairs are wide with support, however, the property is not suitable for wheelchair access. The TV in the bedroom does not work. Only the TV in the living room is working.

The apartment is located within an Amazon same day delivery zone and Amazon nowadays provide almost anything - just let me know and I will ensure any item gets to you whilst still in residence. Please do not suffer in silence - absolutely no hassle.

Paddington is a great, vibrant area located between two Royal Parks, Notting Hill and the West End.

It's only a few minutes’ walk from Paddington station to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Regent's Canal and the picturesque area of Little Venice with its colorful canal boats, swans, and Canadian Geese. Restaurants and cafes thrive in Paddington. Santorini Restaurant is a great independent Greek restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and even better food. Definitely get the halloumi! Farmacy on Westbourne Grove is the place to go for terrific vegetarian or vegan food; this is a spot to not be missed - gourmet vegan-friendly food with scrumptious flavors! For a lovely day out, take the canal towpath to Sheldon Square, a grassy amphitheatre surrounded by restaurants, outdoor free ping pong, and free big screen shows in the summer.

Hop on a canal boat from Little Venice to Camden, or test your balance and hire a paddle board!

For those who enjoy a longer waterside walk, it is possible to follow the Regent’s Canal to ZSL London Zoo.

Our check-in time is preferred from 3PM onwards, however, we understand that sometimes travel needs to be flexible. After booking, please enquire about an earlier check-in with our team – we will always facilitate bag drops for early arrivals.


  • The home is on the 5th floor of the building and can be accessed by taking the elevator from street level to the fourth floor an then walking up one flight of stairs.


  • There is air conditioning in the home.
  • The sofa in the living room converts into a sofa bed.


  • The home is on a shared residential building. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Cancellation Policy

For stays up to 27 nights, the cancellation policy is:

  • 100% refund – If canceled at least 30 days prior to check-in date and within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation
  • 50% refund – if canceled 7 or more days prior to check-in date
  • 0% refund – if canceled within 7 days of check-in date

For stays over 27 nights the cancellation terms might depend on the specific agreement with the host, on the length of the requested stay, and on city local regulations.
