Welcome to my home! I’m so excited to open up my property to fellow Airbnb travellers. My modern and stylish 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, in the vibrant area of Bermondsey, is a comfortable place to stay and has terrific transport links. You’re just a 4 minute walk away from the nearest tube. You’re just around the corner from London Bridge; explore the neighbourhood and enjoy this bustling part of London. I hope you enjoy your stay!

The space

My stylish 2 bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting London. Conveniently located in the exciting area of Bermondsey, just around the corner from London Bridge, and with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle! The living area is light and airy with a beautiful, modern design and lovely finishing touches. Relax on the sofa, hang out, make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the stylish open-plan kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! There’s even a welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones. The master bedroom has a super comfortable King-sized bed and, with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? You don’t have to live out of your suitcase; plenty of storage room means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. There’s a modern en suite bathroom with a shower here too. The second bedroom has a double bed and lots of wardrobe space. Freshen up in the lovely family bathroom - enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake up in the mornings with the shower combo. White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.

Neighbourhood

The area of Bermondsey has, in recent years, become a very trendy part of London, full of places to eat and explore. Markets: Matlby Street Market is worth checking out. Here you'll find moreish Dirty Streaker burgers at African Volcano, great Southern fried chicken at Waffle On, fat oysters and champagne at Bagley & Shakespeare and sushi buns at Sticky Bundits - try their summer Caribbean special with jerk tuna, beef steak and marmalade on a rice-and-peas bun. You shouldn't leave without trying a gooey-centred scotch egg from Finest Fayre, but be warned the queue sometimes stretches out of the market itself. Under the arches behind Maltby Street, you'll arrive at Druid Street, a much more rough-and-ready street-food market. Just a short walk away is the famous Borough Market, which is London’s oldest, dating back to the 13th century! The options here are endless - tacos, burgers, sandwiches, curries, food from all over the world. Restaurants: Village East is a popular destination for brunch. Casse-Croûte is a lovely, French restaurant with red leather banquettes and checked tablecloths, you might forget you’re in London! Very romantic. José is the place to head to for tapas. The day's specials are scrawled on the blackboard and diners shout out orders - act fast as the best dishes go quickly and are then scratched off the list. Great atmosphere and delicious food. For a classic Sunday roast, The Garrison is a local favourite - there’s even a ‘secret’ underground cinema. For a late-night snack and some more drinks, the Other Room Bar is a great option! The quesadillas, stews and meaty tacos come with suggested beer pairings and the menu is extensive. If you’re a big pasta fan, you need look no further than Padella, just opposite London Bridge tube station. This small, no-reservations restaurant always has a queue outside - and with good reason! The beautiful pasta dishes are cheap and delicious. Things to see: For a touch of culture, head to the Fashion and Textile Museum. Located in a converted warehouse, they have great exhibitions that change regularly. White Cube is a groundbreaking gallery in a renovated 1970s building, with a program of artists' and feature films. The Tate Modern, The Globe, HMS Belfast, and Tower Bridge are all within 10/15 minutes by foot. There is a local Sainsbury's on Bermondsey Square - walk out of Royal Oak Yard to the right, cross the road and into Bermondsey Square. Saturday there is a farmers market and a bakery stall.

Check-in

Our check-in time is preferred from 3PM onwards, however, we understand that sometimes travel needs to be flexible. After booking, please enquire about an earlier check-in with our team – we will always facilitate bag drops for early arrivals.

Access

  • The home is on the second floor and can be accessed by taking the elevator up from street level. To follow check out procedure please leave your set of keys in the external mailbox.

Noise

  • The home is in a shared residential building. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Cancellation Policy

For stays up to 27 nights, the cancellation policy is:

  • 100% refund – If canceled at least 30 days prior to check-in date and within 48 hours of receiving booking confirmation
  • 50% refund – if canceled 7 or more days prior to check-in date
  • 0% refund – if canceled within 7 days of check-in date

For stays over 27 nights the cancellation terms might depend on the specific agreement with the host, on the length of the requested stay, and on city local regulations.
